About us

The Gottlieb NESTLE GmbH stands for innovation and quality. The product range of the global manufacturer and trading company for surveying devices and accessories ranges from simple, classic measuring devices to high-quality GNSS surveying products for measurements of all kinds and in all construction areas - even in the forest.

Laser measuring instruments from Gottlieb NESTLE GmbH make it possible to determine distances, elevations or room volumes. Tripods and the right accessories are a guarantee for the most accurate measurements. The products are developed, produced and distributed in the company complex at Freudenstädter Straße 37-43. 

Beside the administration wing, there is a modern CNC machine park and various departments for woodworking, electronics, assembly and even our own welding robots. This makes work processes such as painting, sawing, extruding, tumbling, screen printing, pad printing and laser labelling possible. 

The company was founded in 1933 by Gottlieb Nestle as a sawmill and planer. It has been manufacturing surveying equipment and accessories for over 60 years. 

In addition, among other things, tripods are produced as customer versions for industry giants. Today Gottlieb NESTLE GmbH has 80 employees and a subsidiary in Hungary. Since 2017, NESTLE has been the main sales partner of GeoMax Positioning AG for the D-A-CH and Benelux regions. The GeoMax instruments and software stand for user-friendliness and an excellent price-performance ratio. Together with the NESTLE accessories, this results in a comprehensive product portfolio for all modern construction surveying tasks. 

The Dornstettenbased company is also innovative when it comes to sustainability: wood waste from production is used for heating, and electricity is supplied by its own photovoltaic system.

The activities of our sustainability program focus on climate-friendly heating with wood waste, power generation via our photovoltaic system and the switch to a paper-saving electronic filing system in our offices.
