Wooden tripods have high damping properties and behave almost neutrally in sunlight. Medium-weight wooden tripods are suitable for stationing levelling instruments, theodolites and total stations for measurements with high accuracy requirements. A robust PVC jacket permanently protects the wooden rods from dirt and moisture, thus significantly reducing the resulting swelling of the wood. This tripod is equipped with a round head plate. The pre-mounted rubber feet protect sensitive floors and minimise slipping on smooth surfaces.
All special features at a glance
- Due to the better damping properties of wood, vibrations can be absorbed very well.
- Water penetration is not possible. The wood can no longer swell and impair the function of the tripod.
